ICEG has launched two flagship periodicals. One is an academic journal (International Journal of E-government & Policy (IJEGP)) and the other is a communication (The Communications of ICEG).
The International Journal of E-government & Policy (IJEGP) is published quarterly and available both in print and online. The purpose of the Journal is to offer an outlet to keen researchers in the areas of e-government and policy. It is designed to ensure top quality submissions having research rigour supporting the findings. The journal aims to become the first choice for the researchers looking an outlet for sharing, collaborating and creating knowledge. To ensure the set standards the journal has editorial board of dedicated researchers from various parts of the world who contribute in theme conceptualization, special issues, creating reviewer panels, implementing double blind review process, resolving reviewer conflicts, copy and proof editing, book reviewing and giving general direction to this emerging discipline of knowledge.
The Communications of ICEG is also quarterly publication available only online. It is different from the journal in the sense that it does not pose bar on the length of papers and also accommodates general submissions that may not have research rigor. However the submissions have rich ideas or thoughts based on certain phenomena, practice or experience that have potential to trigger some serious research endeavors. It also accepts committee/agency reports or a review touching upon emergent issues of e-government. Peer discussions, expert interviews, comments on a government's new Act or experiments are also included.
Apart from the above, there are proceedings or edited volume coming out from the every International Conference of E-governance. It also publishes studies undertaken by the ICEG R&D Center.
